What are Clear Braces?
Clear braces use a series of custom-made, transparent aligners to gently move your teeth into a straighter position. They are a discreet alternative to traditional metal braces, making them a popular choice for patients who want a more natural-looking orthodontic treatment. It’s never too late to improve your smile. Straightening your teeth can boost confidence at any age, and properly aligned teeth are often easier to clean, helping to maintain good oral health.
What Is The Treatment Process?
Your clear aligner journey begins with a consultation, where we will assess your teeth and discuss your smile goals. A customised digital treatment plan will then be created, allowing you to see a step-by-step preview of how your teeth are expected to move throughout treatment.
Once your treatment plan has been approved, your bespoke aligners will be manufactured. You will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day, removing them only for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. As directed by your dentist, you will progress to a new set of aligners every 1 to 4 weeks.
How Invisalign® Braces Work
Invisalign uses virtually invisible aligners (braces) to straighten crooked or misaligned teeth. They look a bit like a thin, clear gum shield that most people won’t even notice you are wearing.
What is the treatment process?
Invisalign treatment starts with a consultation. We will evaluate your smile and then map out a precise, customised digital treatment plan that showcases the step-by-step transformation of your smile – This is called your Clincheck.
Once you approve your Clincheck, your unique aligners will be created. You will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed by your doctor. Each set of aligners will gently and gradually shift your teeth into place, according to your treatment plan, until you reach your beautiful new smile.

Is Invisalign treatment painful?
Invisalign treatment moves your teeth by applying gentle, constant force, but some people do feel temporary discomfort for the first few days of wearing a new set of aligners. Typically, people describe it as feeling “pressure” and it’s normal — it’s a sign your Invisalign clear aligners are working and transforming your smile.
